Apart in distance.
Together in prayer.
Avela is a private place to read the Bible offline, pray a few quiet minutes each day, and pray for the people you love in small Prayer Circles, wherever they are.

When you can't be there, you can still pray
Mom is three states away. Your brother has surgery on Tuesday. A friend just lost her job. You text "praying for you" and mean it, and then the day moves on. Avela gives that promise a place: a private circle where you share what is going on, pray, and let each other know you did.
A private circle for the people you pray for
Create a circle for your family, your spouse, your friends or a small group. Share a prayer request or a verse, tap "I prayed" so they know they are not alone, and mark the answer when it comes. Circle conversations are encrypted on your iPhone before they are sent.
How it works
- Create a circle and invite people with a link or QR code
- Share a request or a verse
- Tap "I prayed" so they know
- Mark the answer and give thanks together
A quiet daily rhythm, on your phone
The Bible, offline
Fifteen free translations to download, including KJV, WEB, BSB, ASV, Douay-Rheims and the Brenton Septuagint, plus German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Portuguese. Search, highlights, bookmarks and reading routes.
A daily practice
A few calm minutes: a verse, a short reflection to understand it, a question, and a prayer of your own.
Prayer journal
Write what you are praying for, mark answered prayers and look back on what God has done. More
Guided programs
Seven days of praying for the people you love, and fifteen days through the Gospel of Mark.
Protestant, Catholic or Orthodox
You choose your tradition when you start, and your translation. Reflections in Avela come from classic writers of that tradition, always credited by name, such as Matthew Henry for Protestants, the Haydock commentary for Catholics and John Chrysostom for Orthodox Christians.
