A private prayer circle for the people you love
A Prayer Circle is a small private group inside Avela where family or friends share prayer requests, pray for each other and see when someone has prayed. It works like a prayer chain or a prayer list, but everyone in it is someone you invited, and conversations are encrypted on the iPhone before they are sent.
What you can do in a circle
- Share a prayer request, an update, or a verse that helped you.
- Tap "I prayed" so the person knows someone carried it today.
- Reply with a short message of encouragement.
- Mark a prayer as answered and give thanks together.
- Invite people with a link or a QR code, and remove or block anyone if you need to.

Families who live apart
A family circle keeps parents, grown children and grandparents praying for the same things in the same week, even across states or countries. The Family plan covers up to 6 people.
Couples
A circle of two is a simple way to start praying together without feeling awkward: one shared request, one tap to say you prayed. See how to pray for your husband and start praying together.
Friends and small groups
Bible study groups and friends from church can keep a private prayer list that does not get lost in a group chat.

Privacy and safety
Only people you invite can join a circle. Messages will be encrypted on your iPhone with keys held by circle members, so Avela cannot read them. Anyone can report a problem in a circle or block a person, and reports come to us at [email protected]. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

Creating and joining circles is part of Premium ($7.99 a month) and Family ($12.99 a month for up to 6 people), with 7 days free. People you invite see a 7-day free start before their subscription begins. Up to 10 circles per account. Planned prices; see pricing.
